Explore the towns of La Fortuna and Sarchi on the Arenal Volcano and Baldi Hot Springs tour. This excursion starts early in the morning when you get picked up from your hotel in the San Jose area, and then you will drive towards Arenal Volcano, the main touristic attraction of Costa Rica. On route to Arenal you will stop in the Town of Sarchi at the Artisans’ Oxcart Factory, where you will learn the process of building oxcarts in Costa Rica, the country’s National Symbol of Work.

Continuing with the tour you will visit La Fortuna, which is the main town near the famous Arenal Volcano. At La Fortuna you will have lunch and then will travel to the volcano’s look-out point, where you will spend some time exploring the area. From the Arenal Volcano look-out point you will be able to take the best pictures of this beautiful mountain on clear days.

Later in the afternoon you will visit Baldi, a fun hot springs park with lots of thermal pools surrounded by beautiful tropical gardens; waterslides, bars and restaurants. Baldi Hot Springs is actually the largest Hot Springs Park in the world. Later in the evening you will have dinner and then will return to your hotel in San Jose.
