Tour Description

This one is probably the only tour from San Jose where you would have the opportunity to swim in one of the beautiful Costa Rica Waterfalls, one of the highlights when promoting tourism in this beautiful country. The tour starts from your hotel in the San Jose area, heading towards the town of Zarcero, where we make a stop for you to take pictures of its picturesque park, famous country-wide because of the cypress trees that have been trimmed with the shapes of various animals. Then, we’ll continue the drive to the unexplored Bajos Del Toro area, where we will stop in a lookout point for you to take pictures of its rare valley. Afterwards, we’ll get to the park where you’d do the nature walk and the observation of 3 beautiful waterfalls. Next would be lunch, and then after lunch we would take you to the beautiful “Tesoro Escondido Waterfall” (hidden treasure waterfall), an 80 meters water drop (262 feet) immersed in the rainforest. Here you would have the chance to swim underneath the waterfall or at the amazing blue lagoon close to it. After the swim, we’ll take you to get changed and then back to your San Jose hotel.

Special Notes:

* The nature walk to observe the first 3 waterfalls is considered as moderate, but the short 500 meters walk (1,600 feet) to get to the waterfall is considered as difficult, since you would have to walk on the rocks of the river bed to get to it.

* The blue lagoon would have its blue color depending on the weather.
