Explore the lush jungles, beaches, and wildlife of Costa Rica on this Manuel Antonio National Park tour. You will be picked up in the morning from your San Jose area hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle and will travel to the Central Pacific Region, passing by local towns, farms, forests, mountain ranges, and the beautiful Pacific coastline. Continue your tour with a stop at the famous crocodile bridge, where we normally observe 20 to 50 of these reptiles, some of them as big as 6 meters long (18 feet). Following you will stop at Tarcoles Beach to search for scarlet macaws, one of the most beautiful bird species of Costa Rica; and then to the Jaco Beach look-out point, to enjoy beautiful views of this popular destination.
Once in Manuel Antonio, you will hike on the rainforest trails of the National Park with your guide, where you will be able to observe the large biodiversity of Costa Rica. On these trails, many wild animals are normally observed, such as sloths, white-faced capuchin monkeys, howler monkeys, agoutis, toucans, raccoons, lots of tropical bird species, whitetail deer and the cutest mammal of Costa Rica, the squirrel monkey.
