Explore the mystic Cloud Forests of Costa Rica, on this Monteverde Hanging Bridges & Cloud Forest Aerial Tram Tour. This Full-Day Tour starts in the morning when you get picked up from your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle, and then you will travel to the high mountains of the Costa Rican Continental divide.

On route to Monteverde, you will make multiple stops to observe most of Costa Rica. The first stop will be done at the famous “Crocodile Bridge”, where we normally observe lots of wild crocodiles in their natural habitat, some of them as big as 6 meters (18 feet). Further, ahead you will stop in a fruit stand to learn about the abundant variety of Costa Rican tropical fruits, and you will also stop at the “Monkey Lady” house, where we normally observe lots of playful white-faced capuchin monkeys.

Continue this great trip with beautiful views of the Nicoya Gulf and the impressive Monteverde Mountain Range, we will make a couple stops on the side of the road for you to take pictures of these beautiful sights. Upon arrival at Monteverde, you will enjoy a delicious lunch. After lunch, take a ride on the Cloud Forest Aerial Tram, and get the best views of the Monteverde Jungles. At the end of this gondola ride, you will be taken to a look-out deck, from which you will get the absolutely best views of the Monteverde Cloud Forests and the surrounding mountains, on clear days.

Afterward, hike on the Monteverde Hanging Bridges trails with an expert naturalist guide and learn about the amazing Cloud Forests of Costa Rica. On this hike, you will have amazing views of the Cloud Forest from up on the bridges, as well as from the ground as you walk on the trails immersed in the jungle. Be on the look-out for wild animals of the Cloud Forest, such as the rare emerald toucans, monkeys, sloths, Bellbirds, and the Quetzal, the most impressive bird species of Costa Rica. At the end of your hike, you will go on a quick visit to the typical town of Santa Elena, and then you will be taken back to your hotel in the Jaco area.
